Last issue's feature article, "The Child in Janet Napolitano's Closet," evoked a number of responses from readers. The majority thanked us for providing them with such thought-provoking information. The article, written by John Jacubczyk (permission was granted by him to reprint the article), an attorney, gave readers the hard facts of the case. Many were unaware of what actually took place in late 1999 when "notorious abortionist George Tiller," performed a late term abortion on a 14-year-old girl who was 28 weeks (that's 7 months!) pregnant. Two readers, however, admonished us for printing the article. One could not understand how we could "consider the article news." He suggested that we should have edited "out dated material." The article was printed in order to bring to light the actions of a current public servant. If I had come across information concerning, say a murder committed by a public servant 5 years ago, should I edit that out because it's "dated material?" Our job is to provide readers with facts with which to make informed decisions about those they elect into office. Whether you are pro-life or in favor of abortion, Ms. Napolitano, as attorney general, was certainly culpable in the death of a seven-month-old fetus and her constituency has every right to be aware of that information. We are not here to talk you into voting or not voting for her in next year's election. We are simply providing you, the reader, with knowledge. What you choose to do with it is up to you. Christmas is this coming Sunday. We wish each and every one of you a joyous and safe holiday season. Until next year . . . take care.
