Where is the time going? I realize I say this every year (and each year seems to speed by at a faster rate than the previous one), but we're almost six months into 2006. Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day and Independence Day are all "just around the corner." School is almost out for the summer and the weather is beginning to heat up with highs in the hundreds expected this week. Despite the rising temperatures, folks are gearing up for lazy weekends at Roosevelt Lake. Residents have the luxury of visiting the lake during the week. While crappie fishing has slowed during the daytime hours, I hear the cool evenings are worth the trip. Take a break from your hectic lifestyle and head on over to the lake for some fun and relaxation. Just in case you haven't noticed, we have a new address and phone number. Although the actual "grand opening" has not yet been scheduled, we are "in the Globe building." Our regular hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Although it's been a longer process than we anticipated, it was worth it and we're tremendously excited with all the new space (the entire building is about 4500 sq ft) and have plans to add additional equipment and staff. In addition to this publication, full-service printing will also be available at affordable prices at the Willow Street location. For more information, check out the Hot Topic Printing ad in this issue. A 10% discount on business cards coupon is offered in the ad. A number of new links have been added to our website at tontobasinnews.com. There are some neat new games for those needing a break from the stress of the working world. Lots of new & exciting stuff. Until next issue. . . take care.
