Discover Trade Opportunities in the UK

The Arizona Department of Commerce in conjunction with the British Consulate General will conduct briefings on opportunities in the UK and Farnborough International Airshow on November 15 & 16, 2005. The UK aerospace industry is the second largest in the world. These events are ideal for small and medium sized manufacturers and suppliers of products and/or services for the aerospace industry. Phoenix: Tuesday, November 15 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Wyndham Phoenix, 50 E. Adams Street Tucson: Wednesday, November 16 from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Westin La Paloma, 3800 E. Sunset Drive Farnborough International '06 is the world's premier business aviation event of the year. It is an important venue to U.S. exporters for commercial and information exchange in the civilian and military aerospace fields. This show provides an excellent and unmatched opportunity to explore a variety of international markets. These mission participants will be introduced to international agents, distributors and end users whose capabilities are targeted to each U.S. participants needs in that particular market. Novembers events will feature speakers from the British Consulate General Los Angeles including Brain Conley, Deputy Consulate-General; David Millar, UK Ministry of Defense, and Matt Whiteley, UK Trade & Investment, who will discuss the environment of the United Kingdom Market, the opportunities to partner with United Kingdom companies, availability of free business support services, the UK civil and defense aerospace market, bilateral trade opportunities, and how to successfully grow your business in the UK-Europe Market. The second part of this event will be a presentation about Farnborough Aerospace Trade Show and recruiting for it. After the presentations, you will have the opportunity to participate in one-on-one meetings to discuss in detail what the trade show can do for your company.
