Low Interest Loans for Very Low Income Individuals

PHOENIX Eddie Browning, State Director for USDA Rural Development, recently announced the availability of Section 504 low interest loans for very low income individuals to make needed repairs on their home.
Funding may be used for a variety of projects including installing or renovating water or sewer hook-ups, roofing, flooring, lighting, making homes more accessible for people with disabilities, upgrade insulation and weatherization items.
Low interest loans are available without an age requirement. The maximum loan amount is $20,000 with an interest rate of one percent (1%) and up to 20 years repayment.
