ACLU Ellen: Return this Dirty Money Prescott, AZ Just days after former ACLU President Ellen Simon sent out an auto-dial phone message claiming she had no relationship to people defending Al Qaeda terrorists, it was revealed that one of her top donors is an Al Qaeda attorney. Michael Ratner of New York City, is the lead defense attorney for Al Qaeda and Taliban in the U.S. Supreme Court, according to The Washington Post. "ACLU Ellen -- its time you returned this dirty money. The people of rural Arizona don't support your ultra-liberal, Nancy Pelosi views," said Greg Derr, Renzi for Congress Campaign Manager. "ACLU President Ellen Simon's Cleveland values are completely out of touch with the values of rural Arizona, and she ought to be ashamed of her disgraceful record," he concluded. The Arizona Republic quoted Simon "referring to the war on terror as 'a meaningless phrase'" in their endorsement of Congressman Renzi. No wonder she believes the war against terror is meaningless when her top contributor is our enemies' lawyer.
