One lucky winner to be featured in PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive issue and win two tickets to 2008 World Series.
Major League Baseball and PEOPLE Magazine have announced the nine finalists in the nationwide search for "The Sexiest Fan Alive."
Selected from more than 2,000 entries, the finalists represent a cross section of baseball's most passionate and loyal fans.
A panel of judges, including celebrity guest judge Greg Grunberg of NBC's Heroes, reviewed the entries and selected nine finalists, one of whom will go on to be named the "Sexiest Fan Alive" on November 16th.
Fans can visit www.PeopleSexiestFan.com to vote for the finalist they think should receive the coveted title. Voting takes place from October 12th through October 26th.

On September 21st, PEOPLE extended its popular Sexiest Man Alive franchise by launching a nationwide contest with Major League Baseball to find the "Sexiest Fan Alive." The "Sexiest Fan Alive" will be featured in an ad in PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive issue, which reaches 44.5 million readers, and will receive two tickets to a game at the 2008 World Series.
