Phoenix Public Library Hosts Free Musical Performances in January

Two Phoenix Public Library locations will host free musical performances in January. Sixty Some Odd Acres - 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11 Desert Broom Library, 29710 N. Cave Creek Road Enjoy an afternoon of old time, mountain and Celtic music! Sixty Some Odd Acres is an all-strings local band made up of women aged 60 and older. The Swingin’ with Dean Show - 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18 Desert Sage Library, 7602 W. Encanto Blvd. Touching on the styles of Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ray Charles, Glenn Miller and more, Dean will perform swing, jazz standards, blues, rock and soul hits of great American artists.
