Like many 57-year-olds, Turf has Ëœhad a little work done to stay looking good but Turf Paradise remains the iconic race track where veteran fans and those new to the sport gather to watch compelling live, local horse racing.
Turf Paradise General Manager Vince Francia said, There are very few attractions in the Valley with the same staying power of Turf Paradise. No matter the decade, fans love to watch and wager on horse racing.ÂÂÂ
The highlight of the day will be The Cotton Fitzsimmons Mile, named after the late coach and executive of the Phoenix Suns. The purse on the race is $75,000. The Cotton Fitzsimmons Mile will be run at eight furlongs over the turf.
